Participation in the study

You can join the study when our survey appears while browsing websites. The surveys are displayed randomly. Clearing cookies from your browser may increase your chances of being selected.

gemiusAudience is a study of the popularity of online content. We collect data on visited websites, time spent online, and opened applications. Details about the collected data can be found in our Privacy Policy.

People randomly selected for the study fill out a survey and install the Netpanel application or plugin. Additionally, study participants receive invitations to monthly contests with attractive prizes.

More information is available on the study website.

No, the Netpanel application is completely free. Study participants can take part in contests with valuable prizes.

You can resign by uninstalling the Netpanel application or extension. Reinstalling the application will be treated as consent to participate in the study.

To delete your personal data, please contact us. Details can be found in our Privacy Policy.

The survey appears randomly. If you don’t complete it immediately, it may appear again. To limit its display, avoid clearing your cookies. Here are ways to block it:

  1. Block the survey using a cookie: Use the Gemius Privacy Tool to add a cookie that will prevent the survey from reappearing.
  2. Install a pop-up blocker extension: This will help block survey windows.
  3. Submit your IP address: If you have a static IP address, send it to us and we will block the survey for that IP.

Participation in competitions

We send contest invitations by email at the beginning of each month to people who submitted data from the Netpanel plugin or application in the previous month. Details and contest rules can be found in the regulations attached to the contest form.

To take part in the contest, you need to answer 10 general knowledge questions. The winner is the person who provides the correct answers the fastest. After completing the survey, participants choose their preferred prize. You can win smartphones, tablets, laptops, and small household appliances.

Contests are held monthly for active study participants.

The rules can be found in the contest form.

Contact details are used solely to send prizes to the winners. Detailed information can be found in the contest rules.

Each participant can complete the contest survey only once. Clicking 'Start' uses the assigned token (access), which prevents completing the survey again in the same edition. After the current edition ends, you will receive an invitation to the next contest.

Sometimes Google Play may show a message that the Netpanel app is not available in your country. This is usually due to your Google account settings. To check:

1. Go to your account (avatar icon).

2. Select 'Settings'.

3. Then 'General' and 'Account and device settings'.

Check whether the country of your payment card and the country where your Google account was created are correct. Also, consider whether you have recently been abroad, which could affect your settings. Remember, we cannot change these settings.
