Phone panel

We provide panelists with smartphones equipped with research meters to collect data on their daily activities, including website and app usage, tracking TV and radio channels, and viewing ads.

Our research aims to build a reliable picture of the European media market. Your participation helps us better understand the behavior of mobile device users.

Benefits

  • By joining our study, you receive a free smartphone with research software.
  • You use it as your main phone, and we collect anonymous information about your use of the internet, radio and television in a way that is invisible to you.
  • When the contract ends, you can decide whether to return the phone to us or keep it for yourself.
  • You contribute to the broader understanding of consumer behavior, market trends, and industry insights.

How it works

  • Actively use the smartphone we gave you as part of our cooperation. You can browse websites and use your favorite applications there.
  • If you are a Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube user, use their full versions. Use all other applications at your discretion.
  • Use your smartphone every day. You only need an enabled internet connection, Wi-Fi, or mobile data.

Completely safe

  • The security of your data is our priority.
  • We don’t collect any personal data, passwords, logins or text messages. We only collect anonymous activity.
  • We operate by the international ICC/ESOMAR code's principles, proving that we maintain the highest ethical standards.
  • We have the ISO ISO/IEC 27001 certificate containing requirements for Information Security Management Systems.
  • Read our Privacy policy

What data do we collect?

  • Data about internet activity - on websites and applications.
  • Information about TV and radio channels. We use "Sound Matching" technology to recognize them. It involves comparing sound waves recorded in the phone's surroundings with the signals of the TV and radio stations. We don’t collect audio files, only comparative samples from which the original sound can’t be reproduced.
  • The GPS location data of the provided phone is active throughout the contract period.

How do we use data?

We use the collected data in collective reports, e.g., the most popular applications among women aged 35-45. It isn't possible to identify a specific person based on them.
